141 – Saʿid ibn Yaʿqub al-Talqani narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us; Usama ibn Zayd informed us, from Abu Dawud, the client of Miktal, from Abu Hurayrah, who reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Women have been favored over men with ninety-nine parts of desire, yet Allah has cast modesty upon them.”
١٤١ - حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ مَوْلَى مِكْتَلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «فُضِّلَتِ النِّسَاءُ عَلَى الرِّجَالِ بِتِسْعَةٍ وَتِسْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ الشَّهْوَةِ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷿ أَلْقَى عَلَيْهِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ»
