107 – Ahmad ibn Jamil narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us; Sufyan ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from Ayyub ibn Bashir, from Saʿid al-Aʿsha—he is Saʿid ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn Mukmil—from Abu Saʿid al-Khudri, who said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever has three daughters, or three sisters, or two daughters, or two sisters, treats them well, and fears Allah regarding them, will be granted Paradise.”
Sufyan ibn ʿUyaynah related it in this form: from Ayyub ibn Bashir, from Saʿid al-Aʿsha. Al-Darawardi and others, however, transmitted it as: from Saʿid ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman, from Ayyub ibn Bashir, from Abu Saʿid—and this is the correct version—although al-Darawardi did not mention Abu Saʿid.
