8 – Ahmad ibn Jamil narrated to us; ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Mubarak informed us; Shu‘bah informed us, from Qatadah, who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik relate—on the authority of the Prophet ﷺ—who said: “No one who enters Paradise would wish to return to the life of this world, even if he were granted everything that is on the earth—except the martyr. He would long to come back and be killed ten times over.”
