30 – ʿUbayd Allah ibn ʿUmar al-Jushamī narrated to us; Bishr ibn al-Mufaḍḍal narrated to us, from ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿUthmān ibn Khuthaym, from Ibn Abī Mulaykah; Dhakwān told me that Ibn ʿAbbās visited ʿĀʾishah—may Allah be pleased with her—while she was dying, and he began to reassure her. She said, “Leave me be, Ibn ʿAbbās. By Allah, I wish I had been a thing forgotten and consigned to oblivion.”
