19 – ʿAlī ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to us; Shuʿbah related to us; from Sayyār, who said: Abu Wāʾil narrated to us, saying: ʿAbd Allah—may Allah be pleased with him—declared, “I would love for Allah to forgive just one of my many sins, and for my lineage to remain entirely unknown.”
