155 – Abu Muslim ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn Yunus narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn Idris narrated to us; he said: I heard Harun ibn ʿAntarah transmit from Sulayman ibn Surad, who said:

“I did not accompany ʿAli (may Allah be pleased with him) on the Day of the Camel. I therefore went to al-Hasan ibn ʿAli (may Allah be pleased with him), spoke with him, and offered my excuse. He replied, ‘Let it not trouble you, for I have met him and glad tidings passed between us.’ ⦗90⦘ I then turned toward him, and he added, ‘Your father would have wished he had died twenty years before this day.’”
