148 – ʿUbayd Allah ibn Jarir al-ʿAtaki narrated to us; ʿAsim ibn al-Nadr narrated to us; Muʿtamir narrated: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, “The Hour will not come until every tribe is ruled by its hypocrites.” ⦗87⦘ For that reason, I have wished to die before that time arrives.
١٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ الْعَتَكِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَسُودَ كُلَّ قَبِيلَةٍ مُنَافِقُوهَا» ⦗٨٧⦘، فَلِذَلِكَ اشْتَهَيْتُ أَنْ أَمُوتَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ الزَّمَانِ
