142 – al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated to me; he said: I heard al-Fayd ibn Ishaq say that Hudhayfa ibn Qatadah al-Marʿashi declared, “Even if you had never disobeyed Allah for so much as the blink of an eye, it would still be fitting for you to wish that you had never been brought into existence.”
