139 – Abu Bakr al-Bahili narrated to us; Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu Janab, who said:
Talhah ibn Musarrif said, “I took part—meaning the Battle of al-Jamajim—but I never loosed an arrow, nor thrust with a spear, nor struck with a sword. I would gladly have had my hand cut off from right here”—Sufyan pointed to his shoulder—“and never witnessed it at all.”
