98 – Abu Muslim ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn Yunus narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn Idris narrated to us; he said: I heard Layth relate, on the authority of Talhah ibn Musarrif, that ʿAli (may Allah be pleased with him) had Talhah sit down on the Day of the Camel. He then wiped the dust from his face, turned to al-Hasan, and said, “I wish I had died before this day by such-and-such [a number of] years.”
