74 – Abu ʿAmr Hārūn ibn ʿUmar al-Qurashī related to me; ʿAbd Allāh ibn Yūsuf narrated to us, from Khālid ibn Yazīd, from Yūnus ibn Maysarah ibn Ḥalbas, who said:
A band of youthful sages once said, “Come, let us abandon every craving and every pleasure that is bound to perish, before old age overtakes our youth and the very joints that once bore the weight of our passions grow slack.”
