45 – Muhammad narrated to me; Bishr ibn ʿUmar al-Zahrānī narrated to us; ʿUthmān ibn Ḥammād narrated, saying, “I heard Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah say: Abu al-Dardāʾ said, ‘Even if the son of Adam were allowed to live on in perfect health and safety, an illness destined to finish him off would still await him.’”
