25 – Muhammad ibn Idris narrated to me. He said: I heard ʿAli ibn Muhammad al-Tanafisi report that Ibn al-Mubarak said, “How swiftly these days are demolishing the span of our lives; how swiftly this year is demolishing its month; and how swiftly this month is demolishing its day.”
