19 – Muhammad ibn ʿĀṣim narrated to us; Abu Hurmuz narrated to us, from Anas, who said: It was said to Noah—peace be upon him—“O longest-lived of the prophets and foremost among them in gratitude, how did you find the world and life in it?” He replied, “Like a man who entered a house with two doors: he remained inside for only a brief moment, and then he went out.”
