Muhammad ibn Salih al-Qurashi narrated to me; Yazid ibn Bayan al-Jurashi narrated to us. He said, “A shaykh from the Ansar called Abu al-Rahhal narrated to me from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, ‘No young man honors an elder on account of his age without Allah appointing for him someone who will honor him when he himself grows old.’”
