745 — Salama related to me: Abd Allah ibn Ibrāhīm al-Madanī related to me; al-Hurr ibn Abd Allah al-Hadhdhā related to me, on the authority of Safwān ibn Sulaym, on the authority of Sulaymān ibn Yasār, on the authority of Abū Hurayra, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Part of the excellence of a person’s Islam is that he leaves what does not concern him.”
