744 — Salama ibn Shabīb related to me: Abd al-Razzāq related to us; Maʿmar related to us, on the authority of Thābit, on the authority of Anas, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Obscenity is never present in anything without disgracing it, and modesty is never present in anything without adorning it.”
