715 — Muhammad ibn Hātim also narrated to me: Abū Ishāq al-Tālaqānī narrated to us: Ubayd ibn al-Walīd ibn Sulaymān ibn Abī al-Sā’ib informed us, saying, “I heard my father relate: When Abd Allah ibn Abī Zakariyyā’s companions became engrossed in anything other than the remembrance of Allah, he would appear distracted; but when they became engrossed in the remembrance of Allah, no one listened more attentively than he did.”
