69 — Mahdī ibn Hafs narrated to us: Ismāīl ibn Ayyāsh narrated to us, from Mutim ibn al-Miqdām al-Sanānī, from Anbasa ibn Saīd al-Kalāī, from Nusayh al-Ansī, from Rukb al-Misrī—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Blessed is the one who spends the surplus of his wealth and refrains from superfluous speech.”
