670 — Ubayd Allah ibn Umar narrated to us: Hammād ibn Zayd narrated to us: Yahyā ibn Sa‘īd narrated to us, saying: Umar ibn Abd al-Azīz—may Allah have mercy on him—said: “Whoever makes his religion a target for disputation will frequently shift from one position to another.”
