663 — Khālid ibn Khidāsh narrated to us: ‘Abd Allāh ibn Wahb narrated to us: Yūnus informed us, on the authority of Ibn Shihāb, on the authority of Abū Salama ibn ‘Abd al-Rahmān, on the authority of Abū Hurayra, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should honor his guest.”
٦٦٣ - حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ﵁ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ، مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ»
