656 — Hamza ibn al-ʿAbbās related to me: ʿAbdān ibn ʿUthmān informed us: ʿAbd Allāh informed us: Misʿar informed us, saying: A shaykh related to me that he heard Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh, or Ibn ʿUmar—may Allah be pleased with them both—say:
“The speech of the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—had a measured cadence, or an unhurried delivery.”
