630 — Hamza ibn al-Abbās related to me: Abdān informed us: Abd Allah informed us, on the authority of Sulaymān ibn al-Mughīra, from Thābit, from Mutarrif, who said:
“Let the majesty of Allah be great in your hearts. Do not mention Him in such contexts as when one of you says to a dog, ‘O Allah, disgrace it!’—or says the same to a donkey or a sheep.”
