602 — Mansūr ibn Abī Muzāhim narrated to us: Abū Sa‘īd al-Mu’addib narrated to us, from ⦗274⦘ Ubayd Allah ibn Umar, who said, “I believe it was from Aslam, the freedman of Umar, from Umar ibn al-Khattāb (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: ‘Praise is slaughter.’”
