589 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shayba related to us; Muʿtamir related to us, from his father; Abū Amr al-Shaybānī related to us, from Abd Allah ibn Masʿūd—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said: “Reviling a believer is wickedness, and fighting him is disbelief.”
