573 — Bishr ibn Mu‘ādh related to us; Hammād ibn Yahyā al-Abahh related to us, from Muhammad ibn Wāsi, from Mutarrif ibn al-Shikhkhīr, who said: “Whoever’s deeds are pure will have a pure tongue, while whoever mixes his deeds will have his speech mixed in turn.”
