539 — Ishāq ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us: Jarīr narrated to us, from Bayān ibn Bishr, from al-Sha'bī, who said: “I do not know which of the two lies deeper in the Fire: lying or miserliness?”
٥٣٩ - حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ بَيَانِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ: «مَا أَدْرِي أَيُّهُمَا أَبْعَدُ غَوْرًا فِي النَّارِ الْكَذِبُ أَوِ الْبُخْلُ؟»
