512 — Asad ibn ʿAmmār al-Tamīmī narrated to me: Saʿīd ibn ʿAwn al-Basrī narrated to us: Jaʿfar narrated to us, saying: I heard Mālik ibn Dīnār, may Allah have mercy on him, say: “Truthfulness and falsehood wrestle within the heart until one drives the other out.”
