490 — Ahmad ibn Jamīl narrated to us: Abd Allah informed us: Sufyān and Shuʿbah informed us, on the authority of Salamah ibn Kuhayl, on the authority of Musʿab ibn Saʿd, on the authority of Saʿd—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: “A believer may be naturally disposed to every trait except treachery and lying.”
