448 — Al-Haytham ibn Khārijah narrated to us: Al-Haytham ibn Imrān narrated to us, saying: I heard Ismāīl ibn Ubaydillāh al-Makhzūmī say: “Abd al-Malik ibn Marwān instructed me to teach his sons truthfulness just as I taught them the Quran.”
٤٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَخْزُومِيَّ، قَالَ: «أَمَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ أَنَّ أُعَلِّمَ بَنِيهِ الصِّدْقَ كَمَا أُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْقُرْآنَ»
