446 — Ahmad ibn Manīʿ narrated to us: Marwān ibn Muʿāwiyah narrated to us, from Mujammiʿ ibn Yahyā al-Ansārī, from Mansūr ibn al-Muʿtamir—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—said: “Pursue truthfulness, even if you believe it entails ruin, for in it lies salvation.”
