444 — Yahyā ibn Ayyūb narrated to us: Ismāʿīl ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us: ʿAmr ibn Abī ʿUmar informed me, from al-Muttalib, from ʿUbādah ibn al-Sāmit—may Allah be pleased with him—that the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—said: “Guarantee me six things on your part, and I will guarantee you Paradise: speak truthfully when you speak; fulfill your promises; discharge what is entrusted to you; guard your chastity; lower your gaze; and restrain your hands.”
٤٤٤ - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ﵁، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: " اضْمَنُوا لِي سِتًّا مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَضْمَنُ لَكُمُ الْجَنَّةَ: اصْدُقُوا إِذَا حَدَّثْتُمْ، وَأَوْفُوا إِذَا وَعَدْتُمْ، وَأَدُّوا إِذَا ائْتُمِنْتُمْ، وَاحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَكُمْ، وَغُضُّوا أَبْصَارَكُمْ، وَكُفُّوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ "
