357 — Ishāq ibn Ismā‘īl narrated to us: Yazīd ibn Hārūn narrated to us: Ibn Abī Khālid informed us, from a client of Ibn ‘Abbās, from Ibn ‘Abbās—may Allah be pleased with him and his father—who, I believe, said: “One of you may indeed associate partners with Allah—even by means of his dog—saying, ‘Were it not for the dog, we would have been robbed tonight.’”
