348 — Khalaf ibn Hishām narrated to us: Hammād ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ayyūb, from Muhammad: A man gave testimony before Shurayh and said, “I bear witness with Allah’s testimony.” Shurayh said to him, “Do not bear witness with Allah’s testimony; rather, bear witness with your own testimony, for Allah bears witness only to the truth.”
