346 — Abd al-Rahmān ibn Sālih narrated to us: al-Muhāribī narrated to us, from Abū Mālik al-Ashja‘ī, from Rib‘ī, from Hudhayfa—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: A man said, “O Allah, make me one of those reached by the intercession of Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace.” Hudhayfa replied, “Indeed, Allah will make the believers have no need of Muhammad’s intercession—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and his intercession will be for the sinners among the Muslims.”
