33 — Khālid ibn Khidāsh narrated to us: Hammād ibn Zayd narrated to us, saying: “I was informed that Muhammad ibn Wāsi‘ was in a gathering when a man spoke at great length. Muhammad said, ‘What harm would it do any of you to remain silent, thereby keeping himself unsullied and safe?’”
