323 — Dāwūd ibn Amr al-Dabbī related to us: Ismāīl ibn Ayyāsh related to us: Thalabah ibn Muslim al-Khathamī related to me, from Ayyūb ibn Bashīr al-Ijlī, from Shufayy ibn Māti, who reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “Four persons cause further suffering to the inhabitants of Hell despite the torment they already endure. They hasten between boiling water and the Blaze, crying out for woe and destruction. One of them is a man from whose mouth pus and blood flow. He will be asked, ‘What is wrong with this accursed one, that he has tormented us in addition to the torment we already suffer?’ He will reply, ‘This accursed one used to seek out every obscene and filthy utterance and relish it, just as he relished lewd speech.’”
