Ahmad ibn Jamīl related to us: Abd Allah ibn al-Mubārak informed us; al-Masūdī informed us, saying: Amr ibn Murra informed us, from Abd Allah ibn al-Hārith, from Abū Kathīr al-Zubaydī, from Abd Allah ibn Amr ibn al-Ās, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “Take heed: fear Allah and beware of obscenity, for Allah does not love obscenity or the deliberate use of foul speech.”
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ، أَنْبأنَأَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَنْبَأَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «أَلَا فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالْفُحْشَ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفُحْشَ، وَلَا التَّفَحُّشَ»
