296 — Husayn ibn Abd al-Rahmān narrated to me: Al-Muhallab ibn Abī Sufra heard a man backbiting another man, so he said, “Stop! By Allah, your mouth will never be cleansed of its stench.”
٢٩٦ - حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: سَمِعَ الْمُهَلَّبُ بْنُ أَبِي صُفْرَةَ، رَجُلًا يَغْتَابُ رَجُلًا، فَقَالَ: «اكْفُفْ، فَوَاللَّهِ لَا يَنْقَى فُوكَ مِنْ سَهْكِهَا»
