2 — Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Dāwūd ibn Amr al-Dabbī and Sa‘dawayh narrated to us, from Abd Allah ibn al-Mubārak, from ⦗42⦘ Yahyā ibn Ayyūb, from Ubayd Allah ibn Zahr, from Ali ibn Yazīd, from al-Qāsim, from Abū ⦗43⦘ Umāma—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: Uqba ibn Āmir—may Allah be pleased with him—said: I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what leads to salvation?” He replied: “Restrain your tongue, let your home suffice you, and weep over your sin.”
