267 — ʿAbd Allah ibn Abī Badr narrated to me: Wakīʿ informed us, from al-Aʿmash, from Ibrāhīm, from ʿAbd al-Rahmān ibn Yazīd, may Allah have mercy on him, who said: “We had a non-Arab slave girl. When death came upon her, she began saying, ‘This is so-and-so being rolled about in black, foul-smelling mud.’ After she died, we inquired about the man. They said, ‘There was nothing wrong with him, except that he used to go about spreading malicious gossip.’”
