260 — Ahmad ibn Jamīl narrated to us: ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Mubārak informed us: Ibn Lahīʿa informed us, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Hubayra, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Zurayr al-Ghāfiqī, from ʿAlī, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: “The one who utters a false statement and the one who helps propagate it are equal in sin.”
