Abū Khaythama narrated to us: ʿUthmān ibn ʿUmar narrated to us, from ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Abī Ziyād, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Asmāʾ bint Yazīd, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever defends his brother’s honor in his absence, Allah has taken it upon Himself to deliver him from the Fire.”
