229 — Muhammad ibn Abī Samīnah narrated to us: al-Mu‘āfā ibn ‘Imrān narrated to us, from Sābiq, from Abū Khalaf, from Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, said: “Indeed, Allah becomes angry when a flagrant sinner is praised.”
