19 — Al-Fudayl ibn ‘Abd al-Wahhāb, ‘Alī ibn al-Ja‘d, and Ahmad ibn ‘Imrān al-Akhnasī narrated to us. They said: Al-Nadr ibn Ismā‘īl narrated to us, from Ismā‘īl ibn Abī Khālid, from Qays, who said: I saw Abū Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) holding the tip of his tongue and saying, “This has led me into perilous situations.”
