189 — Ahmad ibn Manīʿ narrated to us: Ibn ʿUlayya narrated to us: Saʿīd ibn Abī ʿArūba narrated to us, from Qatāda (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: “It was related to us that the punishment of the grave is divided into three parts: one-third results from backbiting, one-third from failing to keep oneself free of urine, and one-third from tale-bearing.”
