168 — Yahyā ibn Abd al-Hamīd al-Himmānī and Ahmad ibn Imrān al-Akhnasī narrated to us. They said: Abū Bakr ibn Ayyāsh narrated to us, from al-Amash, from Saīd ibn Abd Allah ibn Jurayj, from Abū Barza—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said, “O you who profess faith with your tongues while faith has not entered your hearts! Do not seek out the Muslims’ private faults or their lapses. Whoever seeks out the Muslims’ lapses, Allah will seek out his lapses; and whoever has his lapses sought out by Allah, He will disgrace him even if he is in his own home.”
