91 – Hamzah ibn al-‘Abbas related to me; Abdan ibn ‘Uthman narrated to us; ‘Abd Allah narrated to us; and Yahya ibn ‘Ubayd Allah (may Allah be pleased with them) said: I heard my father say, “I heard Abu Hurayrah report that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘If any one of you wishes to gauge the extent of Allah’s favour upon him, let him look at those who are beneath him and not at those who are above him.’”
