83 – Mahmūd al-Warrāq recited:
If my very act of thanking Allah for His bounty is itself a further bounty He grants me—and for every such bounty gratitude is due—
then how could that gratitude ever be rendered except through His grace, even were the days prolonged and life unending?
When He touches me with prosperity, its gladness spreads far and wide; and when He lets adversity reach me, He follows it with reward.
In every one of these He has a favor so immense that mind, land, and sea alike are too narrow to contain it.
