57 – Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī narrated to us; Ibrāhīm ibn al-Ashʿath related; I heard al-Fuḍayl say: Allah, exalted is He, said: “O son of Adam, when you are turning about in My favor while at the same time revolving in acts of disobedience toward Me, then beware of Me, lest I cast you down in the very midst of your sins. O son of Adam, be conscious of Me, and sleep wherever you wish.”
